About Asavari ✦
Asavari is a lifelong student and lover of learning —
Having recently graduated with a degree in Mind-Body Transpersonal Psychology with an emphasis on Holistic Health and Nutrition, Asavari is now working towards a Bachelor of Science degree in Psycho Neurobics. Aside from holding a number of other certifications, including yoga instructor titles with Core Power and Tribe, she is also the visionary and director behind a water and sound vibrational healing center that is currently in development. Though originally from California, Asavari is based between Sedona, Arizona and Portland, Oregon.
Asavari grew up as a very other-worldly only child. She rarely subscribed to many of the things her peers did and never really got along with authority figures, including her parents. She had a very keen perception and different way of viewing the world and realized early on that society wanted to fit her into a mold, inhibit her learning, stifle her creativity, and subdue her deep connection to Source. Asavari wasn’t having any of it.

Serendipitous things over her lifetime have led her to be on the path she is on right now. She is fortunate to be able to travel the world, meeting people from many different walks of life and having profound three-dimensional and spiritual experiences along the way. Throughout her journey, she has noticed that our belief systems and certain mindsets often don’t seem to serve us, and as a result, she has developed a knack for compelling others to ask themselves difficult questions- ones that challenge their perceptions about themselves and the world around them. Asavari harbors a sense of responsibility to speak up about these things, because it pains her deeply to witness people suffering needlessly due to a simple lack of awareness. In her own words, “we have so many resources in this day and age to learn and educate ourselves, so there should be no reason to keep ourselves in the dark.”
The primary reason for her starting this site and the blog was at the insistence of her four amazing kids that are a continual source of inspiration and motivation to share her knowledge and to be the best she can at any and everything she is passionate about. The strong desire to connect with like-minded people and share experiences was another strong factor and a great way for her to get herself out there before opening the center and doing spiritual life coaching on a more consistent basis. Asavari has been doing many things of this nature for a long time, just without all of the paperwork!
My Mission
If you are a woman, you have probably been called a ‘bitch’ by some fragile tool of the patriarchy who felt threatened by you for speaking your mind. While joking around about this very subject one day, I said, “If I’m a ‘bitch,’ at least I’m an enlightened one!” Hence, the name of this blog.
My ultimate goal for this platform is to establish a space for like-minded Divine Beings to encourage one another, to raise questions, initiate discussions pertaining to our nature of being, our growth, and how we can, perhaps, get ourselves out of the mess humanity has found itself in. In other words, to get real with ourselves and each other. If being real makes you a ‘bitch,’ ‘bossy’, or whatever else in the eyes of the ignorant, then, hey, at least you’re an enlightened one!
I am at a place where it is really important for me to stay balanced between my spiritual self and my physical self— the one that elected to incarnate as a Black woman in the 21st century USA. Some things about me may not seem typically spiritual— yes, I love fashion, makeup, music, and dancing, but I also travel, train in Shamanic arts, am licensed to teach several different practices of Yoga, and am committed to furthering my education. I am continuing to transcend basic human needs to show people that it can be done and, at the rate we are going, we may all need to make some major alterations to the way we live and eat if we want to continue to survive on this planet. I’m vegan as much as possible and vegetarian, even as I travel.
All in all, I’m ready to engage with others who are on their spiritual game. I am all about my woke peeps. I hope you have fun here and stay open, inquisitive, expansive, and are prepared to initiate the change that will propel us forward in ways unfathomable in our spiritual evolution. Let’s do this!
