Dusted Compass (Cover By Asavari Aka TEB)
The first time I listened to Dusted Compass by Human Experience, it was instrumental. I never new that there were any lyrics to this song. I would meditate to it while out on the deck of my home in Washington. When I purchased a compilation CD, I heard Lila Rose who wrote and originally sang this song and it resonated so deeply with me. I loved the fact that David loves to collaborate and when I listened to this song, I began to think about us as a collective and all of the challenges we have faced and continue to face. The song has been around since 2012 and has been rethought by Rain of Phutureprimitive as well. I love that we are in a place and position to connect and collaborate for our collective greater good with mediums like music, art, and fashion as a means for transformation and sacred self expression.
